Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan! Incredible photos! Looks like it was a GREAT trip. So, I’ll ask the question no one else has…are you bringing one of those beautiful babies home?

The Hard Rock Cafe (Saving The Planet Pics) are a little racy for your fundamentalist friends, don’t you think? (Wink. Wink.)

They were also allegorical in a spiritual sense, don’t you think?

Your 2 pictures (the ones before and after Hannah dressed up Chinese style) will warm the hearts of the parents of the little boy reaching for the bubble. My daughter has been in touch with his soon to be parents. I printed them out (big) and will mail them to them. Thanks.

    Dear Dan,

I got to hear my son laugh for the first time yesterday. He is 14 months old and lives in Fuling, China.

He was laughing because you were blowing bubbles for him.

He is the boy in the center of the photos above, our little Oliver, who will be coming home hopefully some time before Christmas. Serenity just sent Sheri’s video of you getting him to giggle. I thought my heart would burst from my chest and fly over to China without me! The sound was like music, like angels, like breath.

How can we thank you for making our son laugh? What a gift! I called my family and played the sound over the phone for each of them — my husband, my parents, my sister. It was so precious.

For all that you did to bring smiles to the beautiful children in Fuling, our deepest thanks. If you have any other photos of Oliver “Fu Ai Hao” we would love to see them!

    With warmth & gratitude,
    Briana & Matt in Minneapolis
